Marlena Harvey, Managing Editor of the City Times, spoke with counseling interns at San Diego City College, Tristan Hartley and Laurel Marks about sex and sexuality that are often considered a taboo topic to many students and teachers..
Marks and Hartley facilitated a twice-monthly event called “Taboo Topics”, creating a safe space for students to talk about sex and sexuality.
Among the topics covered in the podcast, Harvey and Hartley discussed power play in the bedroom, authenticity, reclaiming your body after trauma, polyamory and masturbation.
In this episode, Harvey reflects on the epiosde about polyamory and power play in the bedroom. She shared her opinion on shame and communication. Harvey also explained the differences between polyamory and polygamy in relationships.
