As the semester comes to a close, it’s time to start thinking about your next steps at San Diego City College.

Whether you’re looking to register for winter and spring classes or considering a transfer to a four-year college, there are several resources available to assist you.

You can register for courses through the college’s website, with priority registration already underway for those who qualify.

Open registration begins on December 6. Remember, classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will fill up fast.

Enrolling in new courses can be stressful, but there are tools available that make this process easier.

One tool is the class search website offered by the San Diego Community College District. This site acts as a guide for students to find available courses, allowing you to review class length, type and status all in one place.

You can access it by visiting sdccd.edu and searching for “Class Search.”

If you’re thinking about transferring to a four-year college, City College offers a program that makes this transition more straightforward.

The program is called Transfer Admission Guarantee, or TAG for short.

By meeting the program’s requirements, students can secure a spot at one of six University of California campuses – Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.

Find more information on the UC TAG website.
