Gardinier recently transferred to Penn State World Campus. He continues to take classes at City College and doing what he enjoys most at City Times, which is helping out as a copy editor.
Fun fact: Gardinier won third place at the JACC SoCal Convention for on-the-spot copy editing. His favorite thing about journalism is the potential it has to help those without a public voice.
When Gardinier is not involved with journalism, he likes to bike around the city and walk his golden retriever, Watson, around Balboa Park.
