Deals to look forward to on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Sitting there, amid a chaotic mix of screaming, yelling, and people throwing punches —- it was nothing short of a riot. Many may ask where this was?

It was the scene at a Tilly’s store in Mission Valley on midnight at Black Friday of last year.

It was one of the worst decisions I could have made, not only was nothing bought but the experience was horrible. It was terrifying.

But as this Black Friday approaches, what deals are around this year?

Around City College there isn’t that much in the way of a mall, asking around I got some interesting stores that would be perfect for Black Friday.

The store 5 And a Dime on 701 8th. St, is welcoming San Diego’s Black Friday shoppers through their doors at midnight on Thursday. It is a local East Village shop that offers clothing styles any hipster-ish male would love. It’s a fresh new take on clothing with at least 50 percent off at the store during the sale.

Another awesome shop is the 10 Dollar Mall, Located on 1065 5th Ave, everything in the store is $10 or less. which has everything in the store as 10 dollars or less, it’s located on 1065 5th avenue.

There are a plethora of thrift stores downtown, like The Salvation Army and the adjacent Goodwill. Both offer amazing deals, but not much as far as the typical Black Friday deals. For that, you may want to travel down south.

If you’re looking for a real deal, Las Americas in San Ysidro is an amazing outlet known for slashing prices. Premium outlet stores include Adidas, BCBG, Banana Republic, Forever 21 and many more. It may be somewhat out of the way, but if you’re willing to make the trip and get a good deal, it’s completely worth it.

If you aren’t up for some Black Friday action, you can also look forward to Cyber Monday, when prices online are lowered tremendously on different sites including Amazon, Overstock.com and other retail websites.
