Robbery reported near ‘E’ Building

On the early afternoon of Oct. 10, a male City College student was walking eastbound on 1300 Russ Blvd. near the E Building when he was struck in the face and his phone was subsequently taken from him and stolen.

The suspect then ran westbound on Russ Blvd. towards Highway 163.

He is described as being an African American male who may possibly be in his late 20s and approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a black t-shirt with tan shorts.

Police officers searched the area of Centre City, the trolley station and several city blocks but were unsuccessful.

An investigation remains ongoing.
