What students should know: “So the biggest thing for transfer students, beginning Fall ‘23, we started accepting upper division transfer students as well as lower division transfers. So an upper division means you’ve completed 60 units or more. Lower division’s less than that. The big difference is that you need to give us your high school transcript if you’re going to apply as a lower division. You also need a 2.0 or greater GPA, and you need to have completed A2 and B4, the written communication and math quantitative reasoning requirements. And that is your basic criteria for admission.

“The only impacted programs we have right now are going to be our COBA, our College of Business Administration programs, as well as nursing, are heavily impacted. So they’re kind of subject to other admission criteria so they’d want to always look at the admissions information prior to applying just in case anything’s changed.”
