The San Diego City College Associated Student Government held a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 1 to 1:42 p.m. Highlights of the meeting included:

Highlights (timestamp in audio)

  • (20:00) The Associated Student Government unanimously approved spending $13,200.00 for ASG members to attend the State Senate for California Community Colleges 2026 SSCCC General Assembly, March 27-29, 2026 at the at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport. 
  • (13:40) ASG Government Affairs Officer Ricardo Martinez reported that in a recent SSCCC Region X Delegate Assembly on September 26 that he presented the recent ASG passing of resolutions against Surveillance and for Child Care and reiterated the role of ASG being “heavily involved in the shared governance of San Diego City College.”
  • (11:05) Health, Safety & Environmental Officer Savannah Breaker reported that an updated “safety police incident report” (Jeanne Clery Act crime statistics) had been released via email and said it would be reviewed for “suggestions on how to make our campus safer for everyone.”
  • (36:44) ASG President Martinez announced the passing of the probation period for Senator America Uribe, Health, Safety & Environmental Officer Savannah Breaker, and Public Relations Officer Aivanny Zazueta.
