Green thumbs converge on City

The urban farm at City College held its very first harvest festival on Oct. 16 with booths, pumpkin decorating for the kids, and fresh eats right off the vine.

Tours of the farm were offered, as were food and plants. Members of Mesa College’s culinary program also provided food. Student artists designed scarecrows.

City’s Environmental Stewardship Committee was largely involved in the festival.
