Vehicle linked to suspect in student’s death found

San Diego Police Department Capt. Jim Collins has confirmed today that a 1999 blue Ford Mustang belonging to Armando Perez, who is wanted in connection with the killing of San Diego City College student Diana Gonzalez, has been found in Tijuana.

Gonzalez was found dead in a men’s restroom at City College on Oct. 12. School President Terrence Burgess said this is an incident of domestic violence that has spilled onto campus.

Collins said the vehicle has been returned to the United States and is in possession of SDPD. He is also asking anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to call (619) 531-2775 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
