In a partnership with the American Federation of Teachers, the
City College Athletics Department will bring back its Shop With A Jock program this holiday season.
The program will award 10 or more children each with a $100
gift card to be used on a shopping trip at 10 a.m. on Dec. 9 with a current City
College athlete.
Applications collected by the CalWORKs program will be
reviewed to select the winning children.
Those interested in donating may attend the shopping trip and
will be given the athletics department’s tax ID number.
