Little Italy’s Festa

The 18th Annual Little Italy Festa will be held in downtown San Diego on Oct. 14.

This event will include arts and crafts, music, a beer and wine garden, a kids area, and food, just to name a few.

There will also be an Italian Motorsport Show that will showcase exotic Italian cars.

Within the festival, there will be a chalk painting event known as Gesso Italiano.

This year the theme is going to be “Regions of Italy,” which means that all painters must create a drawing representing a city in Italy.

The Gesso Italiano location will be located on Date St. between India and State St.

One group that will be performing at the festival is Phat Cat Swinger, a swing band that has played shows in the Los Angeles area. They are known for their blending of classic sounds, similar to Frank Sinatra, with upbeat sounds. They will be performing from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Little Italy Festa is the largest Italian-American event in the west coast. According to the website, the event alone draws more than 120,000 attendees from all over the country.

Admission to the festival is free.
