City College Theater presents “John Proctor is the Villain,” opening Oct. 4
The City College theatre program’s upcoming performance of “John Proctor is the Villain” will be at the Saville Theatre, located at 14th and C Street. It opens Oct. 4 and closes Oct. 12.
“John Proctor is the Villain” is a play by Kimberly Belflower about students studying “The Crucible” at a rural Georgia high school. As the students navigate sex-ed, young love and school, they begin to question if John Proctor is actually the villain.

City College men’s soccer, women’s volleyball teams in action at home
City College’s men’s soccer and women’s volleyball will each be playing at home on Friday, Oct. 4.
City’s men’s soccer (3-4-4) is taking on Cuyamaca College at 3 p.m. and is led by sophomore Johnson Nguyen (5 goals) and freshman Jamesly Exantus (6 goals, 4 assists).
City College women’s volleyball (1-7) will be battling Miramar College at 5 p.m. at Harry West Gym. The Knights are anchored by sophomores Allison Wygal (59 kills), Aamori Daniels (36 kills) and freshmen libero Cassie Stevens (25 sets).
Community Voter Registration Fair coming Oct. 8
The Community Voter Registration Fair will be held at the A-Builidng Terrace on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event gives students, staff, faculty and community members the opportunity to register to vote while enjoying music and free food. Volunteers will be standing by to answer any election-related questions.

Undocu-Chats and Crafts set for Oct. 8
The Undocumented Resource Center is hosting another session of Undocu-Chats and Crafts in L-116 at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
All students regardless of legal status are invited to join URC staff in art and crafts activities to learn about resources available to undocumented students, or how to best support someone who is undocumented.
