URC’s grand reopening set for Oct. 17
The Undocumented Resource Center is holding its grand opening ceremony Thursday, Oct. 17. Students are encouraged to RSVP before the event begins at 8:30 a.m.
While the center has been open since the start of the semester, a recent relocation and rebranding are cause for celebration.
The event is the finale of their Week of Action, including workshops and seminars for undocumented students. Check out Instagram for more details.
Universities coming Oct. 15, want YOU to transfer
The San Diego City College Transfer Fair goes down on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.
Universities will be present to hand out information to prospective students.
Representatives for the University of California schools will be hosting their own panel. Students who wish to attend are encouraged to RSVP to attend.
Students who register for the fair will receive a digital handbook containing additional information.
“John Proctor is the Villain” comes to a close on Oct. 12
This weekend is the final showing of the first theatrical performance of the semester.
“John Proctor is the Villain” is a play by Kimberly Belflower about students studying “The Crucible” at a rural Georgia high school. As the students navigate sex-ed, young love and school, they begin to question if John Proctor is the villain.

Knights men’s cross country racing at NTC park at Liberty Station on Oct. 11
The City College men’s cross country team will be competing in the Manny Bautista XC Invite at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Oct. 11 at NTC Park at Liberty Station.
The Knights stand-out runners include sophomores David Kelling and Brandon Hernandez, as well as freshmen Markell Fuqua and Miguel Valenzuela.
