California Voter Online Registration deadline is Oct. 21
The last day to register to vote online is Oct. 21. For more information on how to register to vote, click here. Those voting in person will be able to on Nov. 5 at local election sites.
Dia De Los Muertos featuring the Associated Student Government on Oct. 24
The Associated Student Government is sponsoring a Día de los Muertos event on Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event is dedicated to the coming end of Hispanic and Latine Heritage Month.
Activities include Ballet Folklorico Matt Xtaat de City College performing dances, making marigold flowers out of tissues and a screening of “The Book Of Life,” a film inspired by Día de los Muertos.

Drop-In Research Workshop on Oct. 23
Midterm project got you down? The City College Library is hosting a workshop to help you get started. It starts on Oct. 23 at noon to 12:45 p.m.
Students are encouraged to attend this open workshop focused on topic selection and research.
City College volleyball battles Cuyamaca College Oct. 23, supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month
City College’s Volleyball team will be facing Cuyamaca College at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Harry West Gym. The first 250 attendees will be given free burritos and the first 400 will be given free T-shirts. Admission is free.
The match will also serve as a fundraiser in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Attendees are encouraged to donate $1. City College will be donating all proceeds to team “Powered by Optimism” with the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation.
