Pchum Ben: Hawaiian, Asian American, Pacific Islander Hour Celebration, Friday, Sept. 19
The City College Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Connections Center will be hosting a HAAPI Hour Celebration of Pchum Ben on Friday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The event celebrates a 15-day Cambodian holiday that traditionally honors ancestors with food, candles and offerings at family altars. Find this event at BT-105.

Relax, Recharge, Connect, Thursday, Sept. 25
Yoga and meditation by the California Schools Voluntary Employees Benefits Association will be presented by City’s American Association of Women in Community College on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to noon.
An RSVP is required to participate in this event, and the first 25 women will receive a mystery free gift.
This event will also feature special guest author Latania Michelle Smith. Bring a mat to the library at R-109.

Pláticas with STEM Pros, Wednesday, Sept. 24
Yo Soy STEM will host its first speaker event this semester at room S-401 or via Zoom on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to noon.

Women’s volleyball, soccer return to City
The City College women’s volleyball team (1-4) will compete against MiraCosta on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. in Harry West Gym.
The Knights soccer team (1-2) returns to City to compete against Imperial Valley on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. at the Knights Soccer Field, located at 1480 Park Blvd.
The women’s soccer team will also compete against Cuyamaca on Sept. 23 at 3 p.m.
