Erin Charlens gives best advice as application season continues

The San Diego City College Transfer Center and its director, Erin Charlens, sets up a tent in Schwartz Square every week to answer students’ questions related to transferring to a 4-year university.

Throughout September, Charlens has been tabling on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon.

Sept. 30 will be Charlens’ last pop-up event.

Sept. 29: UC TAG Workshop at the Transfer Center (A-301)

Sept. 30: UC TAG Application Deadline

Oct. 1: CSU and UC Application Filing Period Begins

Oct. 1: SDSU Drop-in advising at the Transfer Center (A-301)

Oct. 2: UC Application Workshop, 1-2 p.m.

Oct. 2: UC Berkley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society Info Session, 4-5 p.m.

Oct. 2: Transfer 101 Workshop (Zoom), 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Oct. 3: UCLA Transfer Admission Presentation, 10-11 a.m.

Oct. 3: USC Transfer Admission Information Session, 10-11 a.m.

Oct. 3: SDSU Black Transfer Student Success Conference, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
