Looking for something to do this week? Here are some of the exciting events coming up at San Diego City College from Dec. 12-18.

KSDS Jazz Studio Sessions featuring Ian Harland, Dec. 11

The KSDS Jazz Studio Sessions live performance with vibraphonist Ian Harland takes place at 7 p.m. in the Recording Studio (C-209) at City College. 

This event is presented by the City College Music Program. Tickets are available here.

An Evening of Dance, Dec. 12-13

City College Dance hosts “An Evening of Dance,” featuring choreography by Alejandro Barajas, Norma Ovalle and other guests. This event will take place on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5 p.m. 

The event will be held at the Saville Theatre.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students, military, seniors and artists. Tickets can be purchased here.

Free parking during the event is located in Lot 8.

All Knight Long Album Release, Dec. 17

City College Music will host a release party for its album “Sounds of City, Vol. III,” featuring artists in the music marketing class.

The release party will take place in Curran Plaza at noon, with pizza and live performances by the artists. 

City College hosts women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader, Dec. 17

The City College men’s basketball game, set for 7 p.m., will follow the women’s basketball game against Compton College at 5 p.m.

The men’s basketball team (7-2) will play Grossmont College (1-8) in its Pacific Coast Athletic Conference opener at Harry West Gym.
