Be Your Own Boss, March 17
The City College Career Center is hosting an opportunity for students to learn more about entrepreneurship at MS-162 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This workshop will teach the fundamentals and basics to starting a business with local entrepreneurs presenting their own strategies and advice.
Lunch will be provided for a limited time to any attendees who RSVP.
Barbershop Talks, March 17
City College’s barbershop, Fresh Cutz, is hosting an event for students to make connections at T-154 from 12:45-1:45 p.m.
The barbershop encourages students to join them in a space to have snacks and a conscious conversation on men’s mental health and free snacks.
Haircuts will be provided to attendees who book an appointment ahead of time.
Library Snack N’ Learn, March 19
The City College Library is continuing to host the Snack N’ Learn event in R-209 from 2-2:30 p.m.
This week’s workshop will have free snacks and will focus on the best ways for students to find sources that professors will love.

City Sports of the Week
The baseball team (9-10, 2-4) will play against Grossmont (14-7, 6-0) on Thursday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at the Morley Field Sports Complex.
The men’s tennis team (7-2, 4-0) will face off against Fullerton (3-7, 0-5) on Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the Odus Morgan Tennis Center.
The women’s tennis team (9-6, 6-0) will also play Fullerton (1-11, 0-4) on Friday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at the Odus Morgan Tennis Center.
The softball team (3-17, 0-5) will play Imperial Valley (1-4, 9-10-1) at 3 p.m. at the Betty Hock Field.
