City College’s Honors Program will be offering honors contracts for fully online classes for the fall 2020 semester, according to the Honors Program webpage.

This change is due to City College only allowing remote and online courses for the fall semester, a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To acquire an honors contract for a class, a student must ask their professors if they are willing to make an honors contract for them. The professor and details can learn more here.

Once the contract is agreed upon, the student must fill out this form.

Honors contracts allow students to earn honors credits for otherwise regular-level classes by adding additional assignments and requirements for the student to complete, which can be desirable on transcripts.

The deadline to submit a request for an honors contact is Friday, Sept. 4.
