Alex Gomez, Staff Writer

The NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program is currently accepting applications for a five-week online course geared toward STEM majors.

Students enrolled in the program will learn from trained professionals, subject matter experts and network with fellow scholars.

The deadline for the application is Nov. 18 and selections will be announced Dec. 4. The session then takes place between Jan. 14 and Feb. 21.

To qualify, students must be enrolled in a community college in the U.S., be enrolled in or have completed nine hours of STEM classes, and be able to commit to five weeks of online instruction.

Application requirements include transcripts, a professor’s recommendation and a 300-word essay. More application details can be found here.
