Deadline to apply for EOPS coming

The deadline to apply for San Diego City College programs that offer assistance to students is coming on March 26.

Extended Opportunities Program and Services is a state-funded program to provide eligible students with assistance in transfer guidance, counseling and priority enrollment.

Students may apply to EOPS if they are taking 12 or more college credits, qualify for the Board of Governors Fee Waiver A or B, and are considered to be academically disadvantaged.

Within the EOPS program, there are also two other programs: the NextUp program for former and current foster youth and the CARE program, which aids single parents.
