PODCAST: Weekly Sex and Sexuality podcast debuts

Marlena Harvey, Managing Editor

Sex and sexuality are often considered taboo topics to many students and teachers.

Tristan Hartley and Laurel Marks, two San Diego City College mental health interns, created a safe space where students can ask questions about those subjects, and Hartley is joining City Time Managing Editors Marlena Harvey to bring the conversations to the campus community through a new podcast.

In the first episode of City Speaks: Sex and Sexuality, Harvey introduces Hartley and how their Taboo Topics meetings work. The episode also shares information about how listeners can ask your own anonymous questions, and where to find the Taboo Topics next Zoom meeting.

City Speaks: Sex and Sexuality will air every Thursday morning at 9 a.m. for the final 8 weeks of the semester.
