Hungry? City Times Media multimedia journalist Jesus Lopez made saucy tuna pasta with today’s Hunger Action Day food drive haul from Feeding San Diego.

This pasta is not your ordinary flour, run-of-the-mill kind. Cooking whole wheat pasta means this dish is heartier for our hearts.

A couple of tips:

• Chop veggies of your liking.

• Open tuna cans and drain the liquid.

• Add your favorite seasoning to the sauce.

• Make it your own.
