San Diego City College held its Salute to Service event on Nov. 9.

The annual Veterans Day event, celebrated this year outside the newly opened campus Veterans Service Center, honors and thanks those who have served in the military.

Approximately 15% of City students in Spring 2022 identified as active military, spouses, dependents or veterans, according to San Diego Community College District demographic data.
