Free flu vaccinations are being offered to San Diego City College students and others at four events on campus starting on Oct. 16.
According to an email to faculty and staff, flu shots are available to everyone 6 months and older and all students, staff, faculty, friends, family and community members are welcome to attend.
“Flu season is here,” said Elaine Eng, director of City’s Student Health Clinic. “Vaccinations are one of the best ways to protect you and your loved ones against influenza.

With flu season getting closer, local health organizations are urging everyone to get their immunizations up-to-date.
Campus vaccinations can be obtained on the following days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can find the correct rooms using this campus map.
- Monday, October 16: Room D-121
- Tuesday, October 17: Room D-121
- Monday, October 23: Schwartz Square
- Thursday, October 26: Schwartz Square
The event is hosted by the City College Student Health Clinic in partnership with Champions for Health.
