GALLERY: City College ends October with Club Rush, Halloween Bash

The event culminated with students participating in three themed costume contests

In celebration of  Halloween, San Diego City College hosted a Club Rush & Halloween Bash event held in the Curran Plaza on Oct. 31, 2024.

Attendees enjoyed musical tunes synonymous with the holiday, such as Bobby Pickett’s “Monster Mash” and “This is Halloween” from the Disney film A Nightmare Before Christmas, while interacting with the various clubs on hand.

Some of the clubs and programs at the event included Active Minds, Bird Alliance at City College and the Arabic program.

The highlight of the event came from the three costume contests held towards the end of the event, which were exclusive to the students. Each contest had a different theme to allow for the most amount of participation: spooky, creative, and funny.
