I drew up a comic book for my teachers at City College. I think I should have copyrighted it before I handed it in. Should students there copyright their homework and essays, should they patent any extra credit creation they construct before letting faculty and students see them?
Honestly, my guess is yes. And that’s why I don’t think the Comic Con should be in San Diego anymore, San Diego just doesn’t deserve it. Comics are for children and the young-at-heart, and that’s simply not who profit from this event in this town. Like everything else down here, it’s stolen and participants are swindled out of the rest of their youth. It’s not a symbiotic relationship, it’s parasitic.

I had a good comic, too.
