A water leak in a San Diego City College parking lot caused a water shutdown in the R building on Nov. 13. The R building was still operational except for the restrooms, which were temporarily closed.

As of Wednesday morning, the R building was fully operational and the restrooms are reopened.

Erin Flanagan, campus acting information officer, sent an email notification to campus staff informing of the leak.

“SDCCD facilities is on the scene, and an update will be provided as soon as possible,” wrote Flanagan.

The lot remains open while facilities worked on fixing the leak.

This is the second water-related incident in and around the R building and the third water incident on campus this semester.
