Biden helps get out the vote at MiraCosta College
President shows support for Congressperson Mike Levin in advance of next week’s midterm elections

President Joe Biden will visit MiraCosta College on Nov. 3 to join Congressperson Mike Levin in rallying voters for the midterm elections, according to an email sent to MiraCosta students and staff on Nov. 2 and an Eventbrite listing.
Registration for the free event, which requires attendees to arrive by 4:30 p.m. for security screening, is closed, according to Eventbrite.
In addition, the Eventbrite invitation states “all of the information provided in the RSVP form will be screened by the United States Secret Service in advance of the event.”
The exact location will be disclosed to attendees shortly before the event, according to Eventbrite. However, the email to students said a civic use permit was granted for use of the gymnasium on the Oceanside campus for a public community event with the same start time.
