A new COVID-19 omicron subvariant is spreading throughout San Diego this holiday season, county officials announced, days before the mask requirement at San Diego Community College District campuses is set to end.

After weeks of the UC strike, the UAW union and the UC system announced they are entering a mediation process with a third party. San Diego also experienced heavy rain earlier this week — find out if it’s expected to return this weekend.
