Over two years ago, San Diego City College President Ricky Shabazz announced the college was in the process of building its first on-campus housing development.
The project’s goal was to give students and staff an affordable alternative for living in downtown San Diego.
Demolition began on the old child development center on Sept. 19, where the new housing will be located. Here’s a timeline of the project so far.
