Keila Menjivar Zamora, Managing Editor, City Times

Keila Menjivar Zamora is a multimedia journalist for City Times.

She previously served as a journalist for The Mesa Press in spring 2023. She is pursuing associate degrees in both Journalism and Chicana/o Studies with the goal of transferring to UCLA.

In her free time, Menjivar Zamora enjoys diving into the genre of magical realism, taking care of her plants, writing, exploring higher consciousness and going to the gym.

“So I take the Orange Line trolley here and usually its not really an issue, even with the track damage, because there is a bus shuttle that goes along the same route. But in the area that I live in, its near Encanto, where the trolley station was, it sank in and I have friends who take public transportation, and thats like a big thing that affected their schedule and figuring that out.
