The season for the San Diego City College men’s basketball team ended in heartbreak on the road on March 4.

The No. 8 Knights lost to host No.1 Fullerton College, 77-74, in the third round of the California Community College Athletics Association Playoffs.

The game was back and forth the whole night with lots of late-game drama, but ultimately the Knights fell short.

The game was well attended with over 462 in attendance, according to sdcityknights.com

This was the first season with head coach Mitch Charlens back in charge.

The Knights finished the season with an overall record of 24-6 while being undefeated at home.
