“Drag, it's all about being extra, and sometimes as trans individuals, we like to be extra. It's just another way for us to express our inner extravagance. Growing up as a young, gay, black boy, I didn't see trans represented in a good way. So seeing trans women being celebrated and being able to showcase themselves in a positive light is definitely something that needs to be seen.” -Strawberry Corncakes, drag performer.
