Diangela Veras is an award-winning student journalist and designer. Originally from New York City, she received her associate degree in English from City College in 2019.

During her free time, she likes to play video games and spend time with dogs. In 2019 she was awarded first place for layout design by the San Diego Press Club Awards. She aspires to work in layout design in journalism and in teaching.
