Students began applying for the inaugural bachelor’s degree in cyber defense and analysis at City College in Oct. 2023, with classes to begin fall 2024. Here is a timeline of how it all came to be.

There are over 50 scholarships available. Students looking for support in applying can visit the scholarship office in A-270.

To be eligible, students must be a California resident, taking 12 or more units with at least 6 at City College. Other requirements include qualifying for Board of Governors Fee Waivers, having completed less than 70 units, and being classified as educationally disadvantaged.
