City students, faculty react to commencement postponement

With City's annual graduation ceremony pushed back, students express fears of missing out (FOMO)

Due to a statewide restriction of assembling large groups, San Diego Community College District Chancellor Constance Carroll announced in an email that City's May 22 ceremony has been postponed to summer or fall, or perhaps in a digital format.

City College homeless shelter worker copes with new reality

The San Diego Convention Center is being repurposed as a homeless shelter to prevent the further spread of COVID-19

With travel bans in place and all public gatherings canceled, the San Diego Convention Center is being used to house the unsheltered. City College social work student Cyanne Knight is at ground zero during the transitioning of the homeless population.

City College commencement returns to Balboa Park

The 2020 commencement will be back at its original location after a one-year move to the Convention Center
