San Diego City College is highlighting the contributions and experiences of Black communities with speakers, events, workshops and webinars covering music, film, mental health, financial planning and even acrobatics this February.  

Having first visited San Diego City College to attend a UMOJA event during her senior year at Hoover High School, Victoria Owusu remembers hearing the welcome address in her native language and feeling City would be the only community college for her.
