On the tenth day after the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, over a thousand people took part in a protest at Waterfront Park. The protest on June 6 was completely peaceful with people from all races gathered.

For the fourth year in a row, San Diego joined diverse cities across the country in the annual Women’s March on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Waterfront Park.  Take a look at the march.

Waterfront Park, perfectly placed between a marina full of ships, the downtown skyline and planes diving into the airport, provided the ideal setting for Scallywag beer and music festival on Oct. 20.

Waterfront Park is turning Rancid on Oct. 20. The ska-influenced punk band with the mega-hit songs "Time Bomb" and "Ruby Soho" will headline at the Scallywag music and craft beer festival.
