Early voter numbers top 12 million in California

Ahead of Election Day, Californians have cast 12,780,739 ballots, according to a tweet by the office of California Secretary of State Alex Padilla at 11:15 a.m.

The polls close at 8 p.m. tonight, but you can still register to vote in-person or drop off your completed vote-by-mail ballot.
