The pandemic has given the video conferencing platform Zoom the greatest boost in usage and popularity any business could hope for.

With the lockdown starting in mid-March and closing places of education and work, Zoom became the most popular way for people to meet in large groups.

The success of the company showed in many aspects as the CEO and Founder Mark Yuan noted the milestones in a recent conference held, not surprisingly, on Zoom.

Among the highlights of an otherwise dark 2020, Zoom reports 300 million daily participants using its platform.

“Our IOS app was ranked No. 1 for 68 consecutive days from March 16 to May 23,” Yuan said in the broadcast.

With the success of the app’s usage also has come financial success.

The company’s stock price reached an all-time high in October when it shot up to 722% compared to January, according to NASDAQ.
