“Imogen Says Nothing,” a play that has only been performed by the Yale Repertory Theater, is making its way to the West Coast for the first time.

This Shakespearean-era play based on science fiction is energetic and comical. The play includes suspense with a touch of horror for those who wish to celebrate this upcoming Halloween.

The cast and crew have been rehearsing since early September in preparation for the opening performance. “Imogen Says Nothing” will be performed on Friday, Oct. 28 in room 320 of the AH building starting at 7:30 p.m.

Valynsia Sims, an actress since high school, is excited to star in her first lead role as the main character Imogen.

“I get more nervous off stage than I do on stage,” Sims said. “When I’m on stage, I am completely in character.”

For Sims, her favorite part of the play was the interactions and different dynamics between the characters.

The show closes on Nov. 5. For a full list of performance dates, click here.
