The San Diego City College theatre program continues its spring productions with the opening of “Cabaret” on April 21 at the Saville Theatre.

The musical is set in Berlin in 1930, and according to the ticket website, tells the story of American novelist Clifford Bradshaw falling for nightclub performer Sally Bowles, the headliner at the Kit Kat Klub.

“Cabaret” is directed by Katie Rodda and is based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

Performances are Fridays, April 21 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays, April 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There is also a Thursday, April 27 show at 2 p.m.
