Ramadan at the Pantry, March 3-7
The Knights Pantry will be changing things up next week following the beginning of Ramadan.
Starting Monday, March 3, the Pantry will be stocked with various foods pertaining to the holiday, ending Thursday, March 7.
Additionally, the Pantry will have extended operating hours, staying open until 5 p.m. The Pantry is located in T-150.
Undocuchats, March 3
The Undocumented Resource Center is hosting an open house.
Students are invited to the URC in L-116 to learn more about resources available to them, and how to best support people who are undocumented.
The event is open to all.
Paid writing opportunity info session, March 4
The career center is offering a paid writing opportunity for City College students.
Students majoring in English, Creative Writing, or Journalism are encouraged to attend an info session to learn more about this opportunity.
Interested students are encouraged to join the info session on March 4th at the career center in A-301.
City College men’s basketball hosts playoff game at Harry West Gym, March 1
After receiving a number 6 seed in the 3C2A South regional playoffs, the San Diego City College Knights will take on Cerritos College on Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
Six Knights earned all conference awards for their play during the regular season. Sophomore Logan Huston was named PCAC player of the year, and head coach Mitch Charlens was named PCAC Coach of the year.
Admission for Saturday’s playoff matchup at Harry West Gym is $12 for the general public and $8 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children less than 12 years of age.
