Local artwork showcased at ‘Ray at Night’

With finals looming by,
it can be unnerving for many and what better detour to take than a captivating
art walk such as the Ray at Night event in the artsy and hipster neighborhood
of North Park.

This local artistic retreat occurs the second Saturday of every month in between Ray and Landis street free of charge. The art walk indulges locals with a decorative banquet of several purchasable art pieces while local musicians perform in the background.

The event also appeases attendees taste buds as several food trucks litter the strip and some of the businesses and art shops offer free crafts workshops on occasion promoting and showcasing artwork done by students.

Ray at Night has been captivating North Park since 2001 where local businesses were some of the working forces that made this traditional event come to life. These businesses envisioned their neighborhood as an artistic haven and have seen their creative vision bloom as each year passes as Ray at Night has become an anticipated treat for locals. So go ahead and step into the delightful rabbit hole of creative delights and become rejuvenated for finals.
