Sketch of sexual battery suspect released

An artist’s rendering of the suspect in the March 3 sexual battery incident at San Diego City College was released via safety alert issued by the San Diego Community College District on March 18.
The suspect is described as an “Hispanic male, about 5-feet tall, between 150-160 pounds, in his 30s with black hair and brown eyes,” according to the safety alert.

I wonder why it took so long to produce and release the sketch. Sketch was done 6 days after attack. Seems like it would be more accurate to do the sketch as soon as possible while the memory is fresh in the witness’ mind. And then not released to the campus community and the public for 9 more days? This doesn’t seem to be an efficient effort to find the perpetrator, imo.
