The final countdown for the California Primary has begun, and the last day to vote is here.
Polls across the state opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m. tonight.
This includes voters dropping off ballots and those who are in line at voting centers before closing.
Voters around the City College community, including students, can vote in the P-Building Flex Room, according to the San Diego Registrar of Voters center location list.
Be sure to check the nearest location available to you and the wait time listed for each poll center.

“Get in line by 8 p.m., and you can cast your ballot,” said Shawn Brom, Registrar of Voters for San Diego County, in a June 2 post on X. “If you’re not registered to vote, it’s not too late. Stop by any vote center, register and vote today.”
San Diego voters and onlookers can expect to see early voting results tonight after voting centers close.
“The first set of unofficial election night results will be posted shortly after 8 p.m.,” according to the County News Center of San Diego. “The report will include mail ballots received before Election Day, as well as vote center ballots cast during early voting from May 23 through June 1.”
Ballots cast at voting centers on June 2 will be transported to the Registrar of Voters after 8 p.m.
These ballots will then be counted and results will be updated in intervals until all of the ballots have been accounted for.
According to the County News Center of San Diego, the final unofficial update for June 2 election votes will take place by midnight or later on June 3.
Additional unofficial result updates by the Registrar of Voters will be shared on June 4, 5, and 8 by 6 p.m each day.
On Election Day, you have three options to turn it in.
- You can mail it in. Mail-in ballots must be signed and postmarked by the end of today, June 2, and received by the registrar’s office no later than June 10. You can also track your vote as it makes its way to be counted. Visit sdvote.com and sign up for “Where’s My Ballot?”
- You can drop it off in person on Election Day. You can take it to one of 150 ballot drop-off locations in the County. They include libraries, post offices, and county offices. Those are open until 8 pm.
- You can take it to your polling place on Election Day. You can drop your sealed ballot off at your polling place or surrender it to vote in person. Confirm your polling place before leaving. You can also check the wait times on sdvote.com.
The polls will be open to 8 p.m.
