REVIEW: ‘Effortless’ production a success at City College festival

The Festival of New Plays introduced seven one-act plays written and performed by City College students. The challenge was to condense a solid one-act play into 10 minutes, a mission that sounds difficult but as an audience member was done well and appeared effortless.

The fifth annual Festival of New Plays runs through March 14 at the Black Box Theater. Many of the seven, one-act plays were written by San Diego City College playwriting and English students and will all be performed by student actors.
