San Diego City College partnered up with the San Diego Food Bank for Hunger Action Day. Social distancing guidelines, including mask use requirements and a safe walk-up option, were in place for all volunteers and attendees of the event.  Along with the donated food, City also provided bags of toiletries containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, deodorant, soap and condoms.
