BREAKING: Car fire in the V building parking structure leads to evacuation

“The car was completely demolished, and we did find the registered owner and she indicated that there were some mechanical, maybe electrical, problems coming into school, and the fire department had the same assessment,” Chief Joseph Ramos said, “so they’ll (probably find it was an) electrical fire.”

San Diego City College student Ryan Gonzalez was walking down the stairs to the AH/BT quad to leave campus on April 3 when he noticed a police vehicle roll onto campus. Gonzalez said he saw two officers approached a man and put him into handcuffs before the man fell to the ground.
